Micke & Minnie Mouse are mistaken as twins sometimes because they look so similar, but in real, they are a couple. This was just a made-up story that probably started because parents were hesitant to introduce romantic relations in cartoons to their kids.
Mickey and Minnie met in the 1928 short film. In the film, Minnie is a musician trying to catch a ride on the steamboat where Mickey works. They quickly bonded when Mickey cheered her up after a goat ate her music and guitar.
Although they were never officially married, Walt Disney told the fans that Mickey and Minnie are a couple in private life. This sentiment was further held it place when Mickey’s voice actor, Wayne Allwine, married Minnie’s voice actor, Russi Taylor, in real life.

The post featured Disney characters, and the title of this comic collection was “What If.” In this comic, they also featured Mickey Mouse, but not with Minnie. Instead, he was featured with Daisy Duck, and fans didn’t take a minute to notice this.
Many fans were shocked and upset by the idea of Mickey being paired with another character. The internet was filled with comments from people expressing their disappointment and worry and asking Disney did Mickey and Minnie broke up.
