Many people criticize the game’s theme, especially for creating sexual and murder scenes. But things never stop there; the original controversy start after the Mahan was set under fire for grooming an underage fan. A video is streaming online, and the unethical chat between Mahan and a minor fan is leak. However, Yandere found these allegations as a conspiracy.

After the recordings and audio of Snapchat went viral, Mahan recorded a 15-minute YouTube video, where he responded to the allegations and said he did not intentionally groomed the 16-years old fan. However, he deliberately accepts that he did wrong by involving an underage girl in sexual talk.
He apologizes for the nature of such messages, but he also makes it clear that he does not want to abuse or have any sexual relationship with the minor fan. He started his video by saying that “

Added further, Yandere said that he knew that the girl was only 16, but she had an “adult sense of humor.” she even told Mahan that she had no issue with his age, arguing that he also had friends when he was underage.
He also says, “ he did not attempt to establish a romantic or sexual relationship with the girl. But after explaining my behavior to be associate with romance, I can clearly understand how it was interpret that way”.
At the start, the conversation was expect, and he did not block the fan when the conversation turned sexual, not because he had deteriorated mentally. Still, he said that this was due to wanting to enjoy other aspects of life that I had forgotten over the last ten years.
However, later, at some point, the minor girl reached out to a YouTuber who helped her expose the conversation. Yandere also made allegations about the YouTuber and said that “ YouTuber was coaching the fan to manipulate him into saying things that make a bad impression about him.
He also describes that the 16 year old fan says she was coach to get more material and make it viral. But later on, she had changed her mind, not to leak any conversation publically.
But some people say that Yandere taught the little fan how to speak to the content creators who wanted to expose the recordings. but Mahan also denies these allegations by saying that he only offered feedback: “I allowed myself to deteriorate into a person who made horrible decisions daily that harmed not only me but also the people around me.”
